The school is proud to have two Eco-Committees, one for Key Stage 1 and one for Key Stage 2, which meet fortnightly. Membership is made up of enthusiastic pupils who are passionate about making a positive difference to our school, community and planet.

Our Eco-Committee members work alongside Mr Ackhurst to explore environmental issues, develop new ideas and lead projects that inspire others to take action. Through their work, children learn to respect their environment, be resilient when tackling challenges and show responsibility in improving our school community.

Meeting fortnightly with Mr Ackhurst, the Eco-Committees work through an action plan that promotes environmental awareness and leads projects and events throughout the year. Their work helps make our school a greener, happier and more sustainable place for everyone.
