As a school, we are preparing children for the future world of work, part of which is how to present yourself well in different situations. In addition, we expect children to take great pride in their school and therefore, the expectation is that all children will wear school uniform. It is not necessary to have the school logo but children must wear a white shirt or polo shirt under a royal blue cardigan or sweatshirt. Trousers or skirts should be black or grey. Footwear must be black.
School uniform can be ordered online at www.totstoteams.com
Payment will be by debit or credit card. You must make sure that you order the correct size as the uniform is made to order and cannot be returned. We hold a small amount of uniform for you to check sizes before ordering.
Your order can be delivered free of charge to school, or if you would prefer, delivery to your home, but there will be a charge and you must be in to sign for the parcel. Please allow two weeks for delivery.
If you do not have a debit/credit card, you may still place your order via school - (an order form is attached, or call in to the school office for one).
We have a small amount of existing stock: uniform, pe and book bags with our old logo, and will be selling these at half price.
PE: Children must wear the correct kit for PE. They will need a plain White T-shirt and a pair of Black/Navy Blue shorts. They also need sand-shoes or trainers. A plain dark coloured tracksuit may be worn during colder weather for outdoor session. No logos are allowed on P.E. kits. No football shirts other than those issued for the school team.
Most of our Nursery children also wear our school uniform. This is not compulsory but can be easier for parents.
Whether for Nursery or main school, parents must ensure that all items of uniform and clothing are clearly labelled.
Jewellery: This should not be worn. Children with pierced ears should not wear earrings at school and will be required to remove them themselves before PE/Sport lessons begin for the safety of the pupil and others as agreed by North Tyneside in their safety rules for schools. When pupils are able to tell the time, a small watch may be worn to school. Children will be required to remove watches for PE lessons.
Hair: Long hair must be tied back for school. For health and safety reasons, children should refrain from wearing excessive amounts of hair products and accessories.
