Art
At Backworth Park Primary School, we believe that children should be challenged to think creatively, to innovate and imagine. From EYFS to Year 6, we aspire to teach children the practical skills they need in order to become not just artists, but creative thinkers, who can communicate and explore their ideas using a wide range of media and materials. We extend our passion for Art and Design through trips to local galleries, our after school Arts and Crafts Club, as well as undertaking specialised art projects for important historical and cultural dates.
