The children at Backworth Park Primary School are encouraged to travel to school in a safe and healthy way. We encourage the children to walk or ride bikes and scooters, which we have several sheds on site for their safe storage throughout the day. We understand that many parents and carers work, or live some distance from school, and are therefore unable to walk to school. In these situations, The Pavilion - a local bar/ restaurant - kindly allow our parents and carers to park there and walk the short distance to school. We ask that parents and carers do not park inconsiderately to our neighbours and do not park in prohibited areas to keep our children safe and avoid nuisance to residents.
